Rich and Linda continue their story…
Many years of Living Waters Retreats has resulted in distilling some truths and topics that we have returned to again and again. This ministry we have been given is about teaching people that God wants to speak to them directly, about their daily lives, and that God has a plan that is best and there’s none better. All for Jesus is about learning the cry cry, “God, give me a hearing heart!” as a daily practice in our lives.
When we began hosting retreats on specific areas of hearing God– abiding, unity, forgiveness, restoration– attendees began to ask for more materials to help them continue to learn and practice these things. We saw a need to capture these truths and topics into books that would supplement the retreats and allow people to meditate on and return to subjects as God leads them.
All for Jesus is about learning to cry out, “God, give me a hearing heart!”
The first book started when Rich felt that God say, ‘I’m asking you to begin writing a book on forgiveness and to be faithful to it.’ Rich began to dictate the book, called “Life in Forgiveness“, for two or three hours each morning over a month’s time.
“As we began to spend more time with couples who were impacted by the retreats, we saw that God was gifting others to teach and write as well.” Larry Collett had a desire from the Lord to write about “the Kingdom”, and through prayer, we felt God wanted us to collaborate in writing about the Kingdom of God — what it is, and why it is important to understand. So, we ended up co-authoring a couple of titles, The Restored Life and Living the Restored Life.
It is our desire to bridge the gap between the theology of abiding and the reality of actually doing and experiencing God’s activity in one’s life.
SHARE THE ABUNDANT LIFE
We have released seven books to date, with more titles coming. God is stirring other writers to add to the collection of All For Jesus books. God is still speaking, and He is still beckoning us to share about the Abundant Life that is found in Jesus! It is our desire to bridge the gap between the theology of abiding and the reality of actually doing and experiencing God’s activity in one’s life. We hope to continue capturing and sharing truths and topics that would help many to know God personally and to live the Abundant Life.
